About Bhavna
My interest in economics began with curiosity about how societies allocate resources and manage growth. This curiosity led me to complete an M.A. in Applied Economics, where I studied microeconomic analysis, macroeconomic policy, and data-driven decision-making. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped students move from confusion to clarity by breaking complex ideas into understandable, practical explanations. I believe effective economics teaching requires patience and adaptability. Every student approaches abstract concepts differently, so I tailor explanations to suit individual learning styles. I encourage open discussion and questioning, helping students build confidence in expressing economic reasoning clearly and logically. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with economics through reading policy analysis, economic reports, and global market trends. These experiences allow me to bring real-world relevance into lessons. Teaching economics is deeply rewarding because I see learners develop confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to understand complex global issues with independence and insight.

Economics becomes meaningful when students understand how theory explains real human behavior and real-world outcomes. My lessons focus on connecting economic models, graphs, and concepts to everyday decisions made by individuals, businesses, and governments. Instead of memorizing definitions, students explore why markets behave as they do, how incentives shape choices, and how economic forces influence employment, pricing, and growth. Each lesson is structured carefully, allowing learners to move from simple ideas to more complex reasoning without feeling overwhelmed or rushed.
At the beginner level, lessons emphasize core principles such as supply and demand, opportunity cost, elasticity, and basic macroeconomic indicators. Intermediate learners work on market structures, fiscal and monetary policy, cost analysis, and data interpretation. Advanced learners refine analytical writing, graph-based explanation, case studies, and exam-focused responses. Practice questions and guided discussions are integrated into every lesson to strengthen reasoning and application skills.
