About Lata

My interest in economics grew from observing the ways markets, policies, and human behavior interact in society. I pursued a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in Applied Economics, gaining both theoretical knowledge and analytical expertise. Over 7 years of teaching, I have helped students understand complex concepts, connect theory to practice, and develop independent analytical skills through structured, encouraging lessons. I focus on individual learning styles, using examples, exercises, and tailored explanations to ensure comprehension and engagement. My teaching emphasizes understanding over memorization, encouraging students to explore, question, and think critically. Building both knowledge and confidence is central to my approach. Outside teaching, I remain active in economic research, policy studies, and market analysis. Integrating real-world insights into lessons makes learning more relevant and stimulating. Watching students develop analytical skills and a deeper understanding of economic systems is highly rewarding and inspires me to continue fostering curiosity, clarity, and intellectual growth.

About the lesson

Economics becomes more relatable and exciting when learners can connect theory to everyday decisions, markets, and policy outcomes. My lessons focus on foundational concepts including supply and demand, elasticity, market structures, fiscal and monetary policy, and international trade. I combine clear explanations, real-world examples, interactive exercises, and discussion-based learning to ensure students develop both understanding and confidence. Each session encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and practical application.

For advanced learners, lessons include statistical analysis, econometrics, market modeling, and policy evaluation. I use case studies, simulations, and problem-solving exercises to deepen comprehension and analytical ability. The aim is to build not only conceptual understanding but also skills in reasoning, decision-making, and interpreting complex economic situations.

Studying economics develops critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and informed decision-making. Students learn to evaluate choices, interpret data, and apply knowledge to societal and business contexts. My goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and insightful learning environment where learners gain confidence, curiosity, and a lasting appreciation for the relevance of economic principles.
