About Guilherme
I am an Economics and Finance tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance from Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE), and I currently work for a bank, giving me valuable insight into the practical side of finance.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and tailored to each student. I focus on building genuine understanding through practical examples, problem-solving, and graphical analysis rather than simply memorising theory.
Outside of work and teaching, I enjoy learning new languages, visiting museums, travelling, and reading. I believe curiosity and continuous learning are valuable both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether you are preparing for exams or looking to strengthen your understanding of Economics, I aim to create a supportive and professional environment where you can build confidence and make steady progress.

My teaching methodology combines clear explanations of economic concepts with a practical, problem-solving approach. I believe students learn best when they understand not only the theory, but also how to apply it to real economic problems, exam questions, and graphical analysis.
During lessons, we can work through problems step by step, analyse economic graphs and diagrams, and explore the intuition behind key concepts. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, objectives, and areas where they need the most support.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although the duration can be adapted depending on the student’s needs. I teach students of all levels studying Economics, from those building their foundations to university students tackling more advanced topics.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance from Nova School of Business & Economics (Nova SBE). My academic background allows me to bring both a strong theoretical foundation and a practical perspective to my teaching.
