About Myles
Hi!
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Warwick and I tutor locally to Altrincham and around Greater Manchester. After many years of building a track record in academia, I changed course to tutor local students at GCSE and A-Level both online and in person and 5 years have gone by in a flash! I am also a saxophonist, a swimmer and a cyclist (when the weather's nice...), and all lessons are friendly and easygoing.
I personally benefited from a tutor who worked closely with me whilst studying for my GCSEs and A-Levels, making the exam season a whole lot less stressful (and far more bearable!). I tutor my students based on trust, understanding and respect, and I always appreciate and take on feedback when given.

We usually start lessons with general conversation so that I can become familiar with what's been happening at school days prior. Lessons are planned in advance and so I will always have a topic/focus point in mind so that our time is used effectively to meet the current needs of the student. Exam-style questions are always delivered at the appropriate level and pushing the boundaries of knowledge and skill is only ever done bit by bit.
