About Joyce

I am an Economics graduate at Cardiff University, have completed a placement year at a global tech company, and a full-time employee at a Big 4 consulting firm. I tutor KS2, 3 and GCSE English Language, and both GCSE and A Level Economics and Geography. I also offer tutoring lessons for GCSE Business. I will tailor each tutoring session to suit individual needs and any goals that you might want to achieve. For example, we can go through concepts and do practice questions, and past paper questions together.

I prepare my lessons using a variety of resources such as personal notes and past paper questions for practice. I tailor each lesson to suit individual needs and help students achieve their goals by regularly checking their understanding and reviewing exam questions together.

Joyce was an excellent A-level Economics teacher! She was extremely consistent, making sure we’d have a lesson every week as well as being punctual every time. As for the sessions, she’d plan ahead every week by asking what I’d like to do, which was extremely helpful as it meant every session maximized learning time as the resources were already available. She’s also very good at splitting the sessions into learning and then application by helping you attempt exam questions and bettering your exam technique. She’s also amazing at marking essays you do outside of sessions, so I highly recommend her!
