About Bryn
I have a passion for and background in teaching/coaching! I have 10 years' experience coaching gymnastics, worked 2 years as a university Teaching Assistant, and 2 years as a private tutor. I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics, and I currently work as a junior economist for Environment Canada.

I believe in building a connection and relationship of trust with students. Learning (especially math!) should be fun, engaging, and rewarding, and I see it as my role to bring math concepts to life. All students are unique, and in getting to know them I can tailor my approach to their specific needs. Finally, behind the math topics we cover, is the development of independent learning skills. I endeavor to foster students' own sense of curiosity for the subject, ability to ask questions, explore avenues to answers those questions, and ultimately become self-directed learners--skills which will serve them throughout life!
