About Rachel

I am currently pursuing my university studies while tutoring students alongside my academics. Since graduating from junior college, I have continued teaching because I genuinely enjoy interacting with students and being part of their learning journey. I find it very fulfilling to see students become more confident in themselves and gradually improve through consistent guidance and encouragement.

What motivates me most about teaching is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact beyond academics. Every student learns differently, and I enjoy understanding their personalities, challenges, and perspectives so that I can better support them both academically and personally. Over the years, tutoring has allowed me to develop patience, communication skills, and the ability to connect well with students of different learning styles and backgrounds.

To me, teaching is not just about helping students perform better in school, but also about creating a positive and supportive environment where they feel encouraged to learn and grow with confidence.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Rachel, and I have been tutoring students since graduating from junior college. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in Mathematics by simplifying complex concepts into clear and manageable steps. My teaching approach focuses on understanding each student’s learning style and tailoring lessons according to their strengths, weaknesses, and school requirements.

During lessons, I place strong emphasis on strengthening analytical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than memorization alone. I believe students learn best when they fully understand the logic behind concepts, so I guide them through questions step-by-step while encouraging independent thinking and active participation. I also regularly adapt my teaching methods based on students’ progress to ensure lessons remain effective and engaging.

Lessons are typically 1.5 to 2 hours long, depending on the student’s level and learning needs. I provide support for students at the primary and secondary school levels, including students preparing for major examinations.

Beyond teaching content, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.
