About Asha

I have 11 years of experience teaching Economics to students preparing for exams, academic advancement, and future careers in business or policy. I earned an M.Sc in International Economics, which gave me a strong understanding of how economies interact globally through trade, finance, and development. This background allows me to teach economics with depth, relevance, and clarity.

My teaching style is structured, encouraging, and focused on helping students think independently. I enjoy guiding learners through both numerical problem solving and essay-based evaluation, ensuring they feel confident in every aspect of the subject.

Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with economics through global policy reading, development research, and financial trend analysis. Teaching economics is fulfilling because students often discover how logical and empowering the subject becomes. I want every learner to feel capable, informed, and confident in applying economic thinking.

About the lesson

Economics becomes truly engaging when students recognise it as a subject that explains real-world decisions, global systems, and everyday life. In my lessons, I help learners explore markets, trade, inflation, economic growth, and policy choices through clear explanation and structured reasoning. I focus on making economics feel human and practical, not abstract or overly technical. Each session encourages students to ask questions, build confidence, and connect theory with real examples.

Lessons are adapted carefully to each student’s level. Beginners develop strong foundations in supply and demand, basic macroeconomic indicators, and simple market models. Intermediate learners strengthen analytical graph work, economic evaluation, and applied problem solving. Advanced students focus on essay writing, case study analysis, and exam-level economic argument building. I provide guidance that helps learners improve steadily and feel supported throughout.

Economics teaches critical thinking and awareness of the world. Over time, students gain confidence discussing complex issues with clarity. My goal is to help learners succeed academically while developing a thoughtful understanding of economic systems shaping society.
