About Anjali
My journey in Economics began with a fascination for understanding why people make certain choices and how those choices ripple outward to shape entire societies. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Econometrics, where I discovered the power of combining mathematical reasoning with human behavior. Later, I completed an M.Sc in Global Economic Policy, an experience that expanded my understanding of how different countries design systems that influence development, opportunity, and long-term growth. Over the past 9 years, I have had the privilege of helping students transform uncertainty into clarity through patient explanation and warm, engaging teaching. I consider my teaching style to be supportive, calm, and highly adaptable. I believe every learner deserves explanations that match their pace and personality. Whether using simplified models, relatable examples, careful diagrams, or guided reasoning steps, I focus on creating a learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and experiment with ideas. I avoid rote memorization and instead emphasize meaningful understanding—helping students grasp the logic behind concepts so they can apply them confidently to new situations. Watching students gain trust in their own thinking is one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and it’s a privilege I never take for granted. Beyond teaching, I stay connected to the field through economic journals, policy reports, market analysis, and ongoing study of global trends. I enjoy exploring topics such as inequality, behavioral economics, development strategies, technological disruption, and environmental policy. I often bring insights from these areas into lessons to help students see Economics as a living, evolving subject rather than a static set of theories. Teaching Economics continues to inspire me because it allows me to help students grow intellectually while also supporting their confidence, decision-making skills, and curiosity about the world. Being part of their learning journey is a role I value deeply.

Economics becomes far more meaningful when students discover how the principles they study directly influence the world they live in. My lessons are designed to make Economics feel logical, approachable, and deeply relevant by connecting theories to real-life examples such as pricing decisions, job markets, inflation, resource limitations, and behavioral choices. I guide learners through microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, policy impacts, and global economic trends with clear, structured explanations that build strong conceptual foundations. By emphasizing intuition first and technical depth second, students learn to understand why models matter and how economic reasoning strengthens clarity in everyday decisions. My goal is to help learners feel empowered, curious, and capable—not intimidated—by the subject. As lessons progress, I adapt teaching strategies to each student’s level, ensuring that understanding develops steadily and confidently. Beginners receive patient guidance with core ideas like opportunity cost, supply and demand, and production choices. Intermediate learners explore elasticity, market failures, fiscal and monetary tools, and international trade dynamics using a mix of diagrams, case studies, and structured problem-solving. Advanced students refine exam techniques, data interpretation, theoretical analysis, and extended-response writing skills, helping them express economic reasoning clearly and effectively. Throughout all levels, I incorporate practice tasks and calm correction strategies that strengthen independence and encourage students to trust their own analytical abilities. Economics lessons also provide valuable skills that extend far beyond the classroom. Students learn how to evaluate arguments, compare alternatives, anticipate consequences, and think critically about incentives and systems. Many become more observant of global events, financial decisions, public policy debates, and market trends. Others discover an interest in fields such as business, politics, finance, or development studies. I aim to help learners grow not only academically but personally—becoming more confident thinkers capable of approaching challenges with structure, clarity, and curiosity. Ultimately, my goal is to build a learning experience in which Economics becomes a tool for empowerment, deeper understanding, and a more thoughtful perspective on the world.
