About Rory
My fascination with economics began with curiosity about human behaviour, markets, and decision-making processes. Over eight years of teaching, I have combined research, practical examples, and pedagogy to make economics engaging, relevant, and comprehensible. Watching students develop analytical skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of economic principles is deeply rewarding and reinforces the connection between academic achievement and personal growth. I teach with patience, empathy, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style. I emphasise critical thinking, discussion, and application to ensure learners connect theoretical knowledge with practical insights. Lessons incorporate case studies, interactive exercises, and real-world examples, nurturing independent, confident thinkers capable of evaluating complex economic situations. Outside the classroom, I follow market trends, policy developments, and economic research to enrich my teaching. Economics is not just a subject—it is a lens through which we understand the world.
