About Thomas
I currently study economics at the University of Bristol which I thoroughly enjoy as it encompasses lots of maths work, coding and essay writing, allowing you to gain a wide range of skills. I have always enjoyed maths and have found it satisfying to teach. This is because every single maths topic is simply following a set of instructions to find an answer. This way I can usually find the specific stage a student might be struggling on and therefore we can target the help a lot more easily than a subject like English, which is much more ambiguous.

Lessons are usually an hour long where we will go through what you have been learning this week. We will go through a couple of questions to make sure you understand the content from the week and take extra time going over any weak-points. Lessons often consist of going over homework questions or going over recent quizzes/tests. If I am happy with your understanding, we will go through some new content that you will learn in the next week to prep you and make sure you are always on-top of the work!
Lessons are for anyone, aged 11 to 17, so year 7 to year 12 as this is what I specialise in. Qualifications - I got a grade 9 at GCSE level and an A* in my 12 maths exams.
