About Hema
My interest in economics developed during my B.A. in Economics and deepened through an M.Sc. in Financial Economics, where I studied market structures, policy analysis, and quantitative modeling. Over 10 years of teaching, I have helped learners understand complex economic concepts, develop analytical skills, and build confidence in applying theory to practical situations. I focus on structured, interactive, and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs. I combine discussion, real-life examples, and stepwise exercises to promote critical thinking and independent reasoning. Patience, clarity, and personalized guidance are central to my teaching philosophy. I encourage learners to ask questions, explore concepts, and develop their analytical abilities actively. Beyond teaching, I stay informed about market trends, policy developments, and economic research. Integrating these insights into lessons allows students to connect theory with practice. Teaching economics is deeply rewarding because I witness learners transform from uncertainty to mastery, gaining both analytical expertise and confidence in understanding the complex workings of real-world economies.
