About Asha

I have 10 years of experience teaching Economics to students preparing for examinations, university pathways, and real-world business understanding. I earned a B.A in International Economics, which gave me strong grounding in global markets, development issues, and financial systems. This academic background helps me teach economics with depth and clarity.

My teaching style is supportive, organised, and focused on making complex ideas accessible. I enjoy helping learners understand not just what economic models show, but why they matter in real society. I create a learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and think independently.

Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with economics through reading about global policy, economic trends, and international development topics. Teaching economics is rewarding because students often begin to see the subject as powerful and relevant rather than difficult. Supporting that shift motivates my work.

About the lesson

Economics becomes much more meaningful when students see it as a way to understand how societies make choices with limited resources. In my lessons, I guide learners through microeconomics, macroeconomics, supply and demand, market structures, inflation, and global trade with clear, structured explanation. I focus on helping students connect theory to everyday life, so concepts feel practical rather than abstract. Each session is designed to build both academic confidence and real-world awareness.

Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and learning goals. Beginners develop a strong foundation in key definitions, graphs, and simple market behaviour. Intermediate learners strengthen analytical writing, case study interpretation, elasticity calculations, and exam-style responses. Advanced students focus on deeper evaluation skills, economic policy analysis, and structured essay development. Practice questions and feedback are always included to ensure progress.

Economics lessons help students build critical thinking and stronger understanding of how the world works. Over time, learners become more confident discussing complex issues with clarity. My goal is to help students succeed academically while developing insight into modern economic systems.
