About Stella

My interest in economics began with curiosity about how societies allocate resources and how decisions affect everyday life. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Economics and dedicate my career to teaching students of various ages. Over 7 years, I have guided learners to understand economic ideas through relatable examples and clear explanations.

I focus on providing patient, structured, and supportive lessons tailored to each student’s learning style. Many students find abstract concepts intimidating, so I use stories, graphs, and step-by-step reasoning to clarify ideas. Encouraging questions and active thinking is central to my teaching approach.

Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with financial news, economic research, and policy developments. This keeps my lessons current and relevant, allowing students to connect theory with real-world situations. Watching learners gain confidence, analytical skills, and curiosity about economics is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

About the lesson

Economics can be challenging when students struggle to connect abstract theories with real-world examples. My lessons focus on explaining microeconomics, macroeconomics, supply and demand, and government policies in simple, relatable terms. I emphasize understanding concepts through everyday examples, such as shopping choices, budgeting, and market trends, to make lessons practical and engaging. Students learn to think critically about economic problems and develop a deeper appreciation of how financial systems operate.

Each session is structured to gradually build understanding. Beginners explore basic economic terms, market behavior, and simple graphs, while intermediate learners analyze policy effects, market efficiency, and consumer behavior. Advanced students tackle real-world case studies, data interpretation, and critical evaluation of economic theories. I provide exercises, examples, and guided discussions to ensure learners develop both conceptual understanding and analytical skills.

As students progress, they gain the ability to apply economic reasoning to everyday life, debates, and problem-solving scenarios. Many develop stronger analytical thinking, decision-making skills, and awareness of global economic trends. My goal is to make economics approachable, practical, and engaging, helping students develop confidence in their academic and real-world applications of the subject.
