About Nivah
My academic journey in economics began with curiosity about how individuals and societies make choices and how those decisions influence outcomes. I earned a B.A. in Economics and Quantitative Methods, studying microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and applied policy analysis. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students in understanding economics not just as theory but as a practical framework for interpreting the world around them. I believe effective economic instruction requires clarity, structure, and engagement. My teaching approach emphasizes reasoning over memorization, using real-world examples, problem-solving exercises, and step-by-step explanations. I adapt lessons to individual learner needs, ensuring that concepts are not just learned but deeply understood and applied. Beyond teaching, I remain actively engaged in economic research, data analysis, and policy discussion. This allows me to bring current and relevant examples into lessons, helping learners connect theory with practice. Teaching economics is fulfilling because I witness learners develop critical thinking, confidence, and an ability to interpret the world through an analytical lens. Supporting students as they grow into independent, thoughtful thinkers is the most rewarding part of my work.
