About Zak
I've always had a natural ease with numbers, and as I learned more and more math I started enjoying them. I am now an undergraduate student at the University of Ottawa in Economics, a math-demanding degree.
I've spent a lot of time with younger kids and kids with special needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, etc.) and have built methods to tutor them effectively whilst respecting their needs. I've also done tutoring in high school as well as note-taking in CEGEP.

I can tutor all ages below university/CEGEP level, and I do well with younger students.
I believe in differentiated instruction: each student should get tutoring tailored specifically according to their skills and their likes.
I like to approach problems constructively, putting the student at the center of the learning process. They should feel free to ask any question without judgement.
I will approach each tutoring session according to the material the student is currently learning at school, unless they/the parents want to revisit older concepts or even to enrich themselves with further notions.
Lessons can be done online or at the student's house; after the 1st lesson, I can host sessions in my apartment at my discretion.
