Editor and published poet gives lessons in comparative literature, essays, and English Literature. I have over 20 years experience and am a professional editor/content writer working from my home in N

Methodology

I am a lover of words and believe that every student benefits from an introduction to literature. I teach from high school junior students to academic levels. My teaching motto is edit, edit, edit! Every student has the ability to think critically and to become a better writer.

Background

My most rewarding experience as a teacher has been the Literacy project in my home town. Many adults are ashamed they cannot read. Most managed to hide it, some lived a life of crime due to frustration. Dyslexia is a factor in illiterate adults as well. I have taught over 100 students including the literacy project. I graduated from my university with a GPA of 3.9. My teaching methods are based on the individual although lessons are planned for the collective. I always do my best to find those who are struggling and guide them accordingly. I've been teaching for 10 years and volunteering for Literacy projects for 15.
