About Taira

I have been giving ESL lessons for the past 5 years to friends and some family members and 1 year professionally. I currently work for a major company called DaDaABC. I have 18 regular students from the age of 5 and upwards. As a result of good performance I have been offered to teach for a further 2 years with them.
DaDaABC hold monthly student assessments to check the progress of each student and I am very proud to say, all of my students score 90% + results every time! Thanks to the fun and comprehensive methods of my teaching.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Taira. I am a Londoner, but I am well travelled and cultured. I have had students from all different backgrounds and I have loved teaching and learning from my students whom often become friends.
I am an ESL (English as Second Language) Teacher. I teach young children and adults of all ages. I can teach from a complete beginner level to advanced students.
I have a simple motto as a teacher: Having fun and enjoyment is the fastest and best way to learn!
While we are in the state of fun and enjoyment we are much more motivated to attend classes and do the work. Our brains are in a much calmer state, which helps to absorb information much faster.
I teach speaking, writing, reading, pronunciations and grammar through a variety of methods depending on the students level and characteristics. I do a first assessment class to find out exactly what's your level, what are your goals or areas you want to focus on specifically. Then we will be off on our journey of learning.
