About Maria
I am a biologist from the University of Copenhagen and have worked with teaching in one way or another for the past 10 years. I have worked as a tutor for 3 years, a classroom educator for 5 years and have most recently been trained and have worked as a private online study coach in Australia. I focus on building relationships with my students, following their development and helping them achieve their goals. It is the best feeling to see my students succeed and enjoy studying! I have seen so many different students, all with very different challenges, and I love exploring and finding out which teaching method can help that particular student.

I base my teaching on the student's own goals and challenges. Through practical work and problem solving, I focus on visible learning, the student's positive development, and building self-confidence with their studying.
I primarily offer online teaching and private lessons in my own home. Please contact me for additional offers (weekly check-ins, homework help and study coaching) or the possibility of building a special course.

Details
The first free half hour is primarily about building a relationship with the student and aligning expectations. There will be no focus on academic matters.
Online teaching (zoom) covers two options
- 20 minutes = 150 kr.
- 40 minutes = 200 kr.
Teaching in the teachers home is at least 60 minutes (300 DKK/h), but the this can be varied if it is deemed necessary for the individual student.
Teaching at the student's home is at least 60 minutes (300kr./h + transport supplement)
The price for proofreading/corrections of written assignments is assessed based on the number of pages, grade level and expectations from the student. An estimate will be given/accepted in advance.
