On Thur. 9/18 I worked with Tanya's two sons - Jayden and Ben. It was our first meeting/lesson and it is free. We introduced ourselves to each other. I asked Jayden some of his key interests and he stated remote control planes, and soccer. He shared science as his favorite school subject. His most difficult subject is math and reading. I discussed with Ben his interests. He shared that online games, art and building with Legos. He stated his favorite subjects as art and P.E. . His most difficult subjects are science and math.

I then interviewed both boys about their learning preferences. Jayden's strongest learning preferences are watching, speaking, moving and reflection. Ben's highest rated learning preferences are watching,
writing and moving. I will note these preferences as we work through our sessions together. I then asked them to write any type of sentence on a topic of their choice. Jayden wrote a clear simple sentence. Ben wrote a few sentences. Some were simple and about two were compound sentences. I asked them to record three new words and bring their own book or magazine to the next session. We all shared an interactive and creative session together. We will meet for one hour and 30 minutes in the next session (9/25). I will meet separately with each boy for 45 min. from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
