About Amanda
Hello! ️
My name is Amanda, and I am a first-year university student attending Queens’ University. I am enrolled in the Concurrent Teacher Education Program, aiming to pursue a career as a biology teacher after graduation.
I believe education goes much beyond the academics and grades that school seems to revolve around. It’s a lot more stressful than it should be! I’m hoping provide you with the advice and consolation you want, on top of confidence in your learning ability and level of knowledge.

As a university student with the plan of pursuing both a sciences and education degree, my objective career is becoming a sciences teacher post graduation.
Thus, I am up for tutoring mathematics, chemistry and biology to young students up to the grade 9 level.
Lesson plans will be based on the student's school curriculum (and related textbooks/material), and their current level of knowledge. Lessons include:
- A review of the previous class
- Introduction to new content
- Homework to be completed
- Help with school work if needed
Furthermore, weekly/biweekly quizzes will be completed to keep track of learning.
