About Jhellian

Hello! I’m Jhellian, a Filipino education student and a native Tagalog speaker with a passion for teaching and helping others learn. Through my education studies and classroom-related experiences, I have developed a student-centered approach that focuses on making lessons clear, engaging, and easy to understand.

In my lessons, I use simple explanations, guided conversations, vocabulary activities, pronunciation practice, and real-life examples. I adjust my teaching methods based on the student’s level, goals, and learning pace. I also encourage students to practice speaking without being afraid of making mistakes because I believe that confidence is an important part of learning a new language.

Whether you are a complete beginner or already know some Tagalog, I will help you build your skills step by step. My goal is to make Tagalog learning practical, enjoyable, and connected to everyday Filipino conversations and culture.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly, practical, and student-centered. I want my students to learn Tagalog in a comfortable environment where they can practice without being afraid of making mistakes.

I use simple explanations, conversations, examples, vocabulary exercises, and real-life situations to make learning Tagalog easier and more useful. I can also adjust my lessons depending on the student’s level, goals, and learning pace.

A typical lesson starts with a short review, followed by a new topic such as basic vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or everyday expressions. We then practice through conversations and activities, and end with a short review of what was learned.

What sets me apart is that I am a Filipino education student who understands that every learner has a different pace and learning style. I aim to make Tagalog lessons enjoyable, practical, and connected to Filipino culture and everyday life.

My lessons are mainly for foreign high school and college students who want to learn Tagalog, whether they are complete beginners or already know some basic Filipino. Lessons can focus on everyday conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, or Filipino expressions depending on the student’s needs.
