About Anne
I am currently an Educational Therapist tutoring for various students from Grades TK-9th grade. I tutor in many subjects from Math through English-Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Basic Skills prep for tests.
Previously, I worked as an Elementary School Teacher in the classroom for 18 years with experience teaching all Elementary Grades TK-6th grade. I also have previous experience as an RTI (Response to Intervention) teacher from kindergarten through 5th grade; and English-language arts intervention for students to achieve grade level catch up skills.
I target academic weaknesses, teach advanced skills necessary in today's schools, improve abilities through tutoring, maintain required grade level and CA school standards skills, as well as provide advancement in various skills that a student can excel higher in past their grade level to all types of diverse learners.

My lessons are focused on Common Core State Standards and can be flexible to adapt to any Special Needs Goals for any student. One lesson my students love is incorporating games, whether online/ interactive math games, or in-person math boardgames, students love to learn math curriculum, but also get an opportunity to learn math through fun collaborative games that still support their learning. My lessons are tailored to Elementary Students from Grades TK-Fifth Grade and can be adaptable to middle school students needing Elementary Math Intervention.
