About Jack
I studied History at Durham, Economic and Social History at Oxford, and GDL at The City Law School, University of London. I’ve also worked as a paralegal at a multinational law firm and as an English teacher in Taiwan. I know what the best universities are looking for - and what I’d do differently if I were applying now! I’ve been lucky enough to learn from world-class tutors who weren’t just brilliant because they were smart. More importantly, they cared - about their students, their subject, and helping people grow academically. The jump to university - whether from school or adult employment - is challenging for everyone. It can also be one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever experience. I believe in helping as many people as possible to take it with total confidence.

Our work together won’t be about rote-learning facts or “correct” interpretations, but helping you give your own perspective a voice. We’ll use real Oxbridge-style tutorial discussions to explore the topics in a fun and intelligent way, so you’ll know what to expect and how to show you care about the topic.
