About Amir
I have worked as a course instructor in several universities, an instructor for Mathnasium, as well as a private tutor for over 15 years in total. My students have ranged from age 3, just learning counting and basic arithmetic, all the way through advanced calculus, linear algebra and differential equations, but they all have one thing in common: Success. I have had the privilege to help countless students pass their exams and coursework and watch their confidence rise. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than seeing a self-doubting student transform into a confident, self-assured superstar. In addition to my teaching and tutoring experience, my education includes an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, as well as Master’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. I have worked professionally as an engineer for five years and have applied the subject matter that I teach on a daily basis, so you can rest assured knowing that you will be receiving practical, quality instruction.

Whether you’re looking to pass an upcoming exam, finish off a nagging homework assignment, crush the final and bump up your grade, or place into a higher level, you have come to the right person. My name is Amir and I’ve been teaching math to students for over 15 years and have a proven track record of student success. If you are having major difficulties or just need a little guidance, I can help you with: homework, exam prep, standardized tests like AP exams, SATs, even the GRE. Let me know and we will create a plan just for you. I take great pride in my ability to convey difficult concepts in ways that anyone can understand. It doesn’t matter if you consider yourself a gifted student, or “just not a math person” — I will prove to you that ANYONE can be good at math.
