About Khaveen Amal Singh
I am an Educator teaching Physics in the government secondary schools in Mauritius for the last 20 years.
Worked in star schools and coached students for Cambridge HSC /A level examinations. Among them, many were ranked at international level and were even awarded scholarships. Some even turned out to be laureates in streams with Physics at principal level. As resource person for the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate, I have been responsible for the organisation of Cambridge Practical Physics Examinations in Mauritius for the last 5 years. I am actually in Perth to study for a Master of Education at ECU.

I usually teach Physics in classes of mixed abilities, catering for the less able candidates without actually hindering the progress of the high-flyers. All my classes are usually supported with demonstrations and activities based on the concepts being taught. My students are also given the opportunity to practice hands-on activities on a regular basis in order to help building up their self confidence. Regular assessments to monitor students' and relevant remedial actions form part of the teaching and learning process in my classes.
