About Jada
Hello! My name is Jada, and I’m passionate about helping students discover that they are capable of learning and succeeding with the right support. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and have several years of experience working in the classroom, supporting students with different learning styles, abilities, and academic goals. My background has taught me that confidence is just as important as content. When students believe in themselves, they’re more willing to take risks, ask questions, and grow. I strive to create a patient, encouraging, and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and celebrating progress. Every lesson is personalized because every student learns differently. Whether we’re strengthening foundational skills, preparing for an exam, or tackling challenging concepts, I meet students where they are and help them move forward one step at a time. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build the confidence, critical thinking skills, and independence they can carry into every classroom and future opportunity. From there, I create a personalized learning plan designed to help you build confidence, improve understanding, and apply what you’ve learned with accuracy. A typical lesson includes a review of previous concepts, clear instruction on new material, guided practice, independent application, and constructive feedback. I also use real-life examples, interactive discussions, and questioning strategies to make lessons engaging and easy to connect with. What sets me apart is my background in psychology and education, which allows me to understand not just what students are learning, but how they learn best. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students, particularly those who need support with reading comprehension, writing, study skills, critical thinking, and building academic confidence.
