About Marie
I have been teaching in some capacity since I was a high school student myself. I've taught after school science programs, was a camp counselor at Denver Zoo, taught private oboe lessons, coached a youth swim team and I've sub taught in several school districts, primarily in special education classrooms. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology and creative writing then traveled and taught for a few years before earning my master's studying marine biology. I am a teacher by nature and love encouraging students' innate curiosity.
