About Blue
I am a student at The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Distinguished Graduate of San Antonio College. I have experience with educational program management where I helped implement rigorous coursework in low socioeconomic regions. I also have strong community ties and I have hosted many community events that focus on the increase of educational attainment. I served as an educational aid for a high school for two years as well as help develop local parenting class curriculum. I also have experience as a new student advisor in a post-secondary institution, where I help eased students into making a successful transition into the college world.

I tend to focus on the student as a whole and how they can reach their goals in a reasonable time frame. Within my lessons as a tutor, I emphasize methods the students can learn in order to successfully develop. This helps the student learn the content at a quicker rate with less stress. This works especially well with high school students and I first learned this method when I began as an Educational Aid. I am action-orientated and value-focused and I love to have fun with my lessons. I have learned as well that with younger students in primary school, they love to have fun but lose interest quickly, therefore in my lessons there is always room for independently guided instruction where the student learns from their own actions.
