Hello! My name is Freddy, and I have over 8 years of teaching and tutoring experience working with students from elementary school through high school in a variety of subjects, including Math, English, Spanish, and Social Studies. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their academic performance, and develop the skills needed to become independent learners.
What makes me different is my combination of patience and high expectations. I understand that students learn at different speeds, and I am committed to meeting them where they are academically. My experience teaching diverse learners has helped me become skilled at identifying learning gaps, simplifying difficult concepts, and helping students stay motivated. I focus not only on improving grades but also on helping students develop a lifelong love of learning.
I work with students K-12 as well as English Language Learners.
Subjects include:
Mathematics: Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-calculus, and General Math Support
English: Reading Comprehension, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, and ESL
Spanish: Beginner to Intermediate Spanish
Social Studies: History, Government, and Economics
