About MADISON
Do you ever wonder how to balance steady pacing with constructive feedback? I prefer to keep things moving so you do not feel stuck on one technique for too long. We address electric technique or strumming patterns based on what feels right that day. My background in bolero and flamenco informs how I break down complex rhythms. Kids and adults alike seem to appreciate this grounded approach to the fretboard. Since I have 8 years of experience, I can spot exactly where a student needs support. We work through grade exam prep while keeping the music fun. It is quite a relaxing way to learn the guitar.

Adults, kids, and intermediate learners often find their way to my studio to explore the instrument. It feels like we are just sitting in a living room, chatting about chords while tea brews in the background. My teaching is rooted in traditions I grew up with including bolero, flamenco, and chacarera. I hold a BMus Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium and a Licenciatura from Argentina. Integrating these cultural styles into our work is central to my identity as an educator. You will find that I cover reading sheet music, reading tabs, electric technique, strumming patterns, and lead guitar. Exam preparation is also a common part of the work we do together. My 8 years of experience have helped me adapt to various musical goals. Sometimes, we even take your favorite song requests and turn them into simplified arrangements for your level. Hopefully, we can start hitting those specific goals on your guitar journey soon.
