About Yaz
Hello! I'm a second-year Electrical/Computer Engineering student with a strong passion for sharing knowledge and helping others grasp complex concepts. My academic journey has been marked by a deep interest in mathematics, programming, and software design, which I've honed not only through rigorous coursework and but practical application with real work experience. I've been teaching/tutoring high school students in math and programming for several years, and I've also had the opportunity to assist my fellow university students in their electrical and computer engineering courses.
My approach to tutoring is rooted in patience, understanding, and a firm belief in the power of practical learning. I take pride in my ability to break down complex topics into easily understandable parts, and I strive to make every tutoring session engaging and beneficial. I'm committed to creating a supportive and positive learning environment where questions are encouraged, and every challenge is seen as an opportunity for growth. I look forward to helping you on your academic journey!

My approach to tutoring is rooted in the belief that understanding is built on a foundation of curiosity and practical application.
My teaching methodology is a blend of theoretical explanation and hands-on practice, ensuring that my students not only understand the concepts but can also apply them in real-world scenarios. A typical lesson plan might start with a brief overview of the topic, followed by a deep dive into the details, and concluding with a practical exercise or problem-solving session.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down complex concepts into digestible parts, and my proficiency in programming and software design, which allows me to provide a unique perspective on the material.
My lessons are primarily geared towards high school students who are interested in math and programming, as well as anyone from 4th grade to high school students who are interested in pursuing a STEM focused degrees/careers. I believe that my approach to tutoring, which combines my passion for the subject, my academic knowledge, and my practical experience, provides a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for my students.
