I enjoy teaching and helping students develop and succeed in the long term. My deep understanding of how students learn math and everything math is used for in the real world helps to make my classes more interesting and more effective. I focus on understanding each core concept before working to solve specific problems. Once we confirm core concepts the rest of the process is more efficient, with better retention and greater ability to answer any related problems. With 1:1 sessions, I cater my assessment and class plans to individual students every class. For multi-class group sessions we agree in advance on the objectives for each block of classes, and adjust as needed.
