About Larissa
I have worked as a math tutor for Grade Potential Tutoring since 2022 with long-term students and new students from grades Kindergarten to University. I have also recently joined Elite Home Tutoring.
Additionally, I have experience teaching K-6 ELA, guiding students with dysgraphia, and violin (2018-2021).
I received my Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering within 4 years at San Diego State University.

For anybody taking math classes up to Calculus 1 and 2 (equivalent to AP Calculus AB and BC). This does not include statistics classes. All sessions will be held online.
Lessons are tailored to your needs:
Test prep = learn speed and accuracy, practice problems.
Get ahead = learn advanced material.
Additional support = homework help and practice problems.
I take on a very empathetic approach to teaching to build your confidence. I might make you question your answers, but I will never be harsh. This is to better your intuition in the subject. I'll be asking you a lot of questions, too!
My goal is to get you standing on your own feet so you won't need me anymore (^_^). I will explain every concept and its "whys" until you can explain it to me.
