About Raveena
I am a Mathematics and Science tutor based in London, specialising in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Physics, Trigonometry, and Engineering fundamentals. I hold a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, one of India's most prestigious and competitive engineering institutions, consistently ranked among the top ten technical universities in the country. I have recently completed an MBA at Middlesex University, London, demonstrating my continued commitment to academic excellence and lifelong learning.
My engineering degree gave me an exceptionally strong foundation in advanced Mathematics and Physics, covering Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Electromagnetic Theory, and Applied Physics across four intensive years of study. I did not just study these subjects. I thrived in them, at one of the most demanding academic environments in Asia. That depth of knowledge is what I bring to every tutoring session.
I am a patient, structured, and encouraging tutor. I believe that every student is capable of understanding Mathematics and Science when concepts are explained clearly, at the right pace, and connected to real-world meaning. My approach is never to rush or overwhelm. Instead, I work to identify exactly where a student's understanding breaks down and rebuild from there, step by step, until the foundation is solid.
I work with students aged 11 to 18 preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations, as well as first-year university students seeking additional support. Sessions are tailored entirely to the individual, whether a student needs to catch up, consolidate, or push for the highest grades, I adapt my teaching accordingly. I place particular emphasis on exam technique, past paper practice, and building the kind of confident, independent thinking that serves students well beyond the examination room.
I offer both in-person sessions across London and online lessons via Zoom, making quality tuition accessible regardless of location. I begin every new student relationship with a free 30-minute introductory session to assess current level, understand goals, and agree a personalised study plan. So that from lesson one, we are working with real purpose and direction.

Hi! I'm Raveena, an Engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli, one of India's most competitive universities and a recent MBA graduate from Middlesex University, London. I specialise in Maths, Physics, Trigonometry, and Science for GCSE and A-Level students, bringing both deep subject knowledge and a calm, patient teaching style that helps students genuinely understand rather than just memorise.
My Teaching Approach:
I tailor every session to the individual student. I start by identifying exactly where the gaps are, then build understanding step by step, no rushing, no jargon. I use real-world examples to make abstract concepts click, work through past exam papers together, and focus heavily on building exam technique and confidence alongside subject knowledge. I give short practice tasks between sessions so students consolidate what we've covered before moving on.
Typical Lesson:
60 to 90 minutes. We begin with a quick recap of the previous session, tackle new material in the middle, and finish with practice questions so the student leaves feeling confident.
Who I Teach:
GCSE and A-Level students aged 11 to 18. Particularly strong in Maths (including Trigonometry, Algebra, Calculus, and Statistics), Physics, and Engineering fundamentals. Also available for first-year university students needing support.
