About Chloe
I have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minor in physics; I am beginning my PhD in electrical engineering soon. I started tutoring when I was in high school because I found many of my classmates were struggling in a large classroom setting. After this initial experience, I fell in love with helping students find that magical "click" of understanding. I have tutored students in math classes ranging from middle school math to AP Calculus, college statistics, and more.
My own mathematical and scientific expertise was developed through my rigorous course load I undertook in both high school and my undergraduate studies. I am someone who truly loves math and science, and I love being able to mitigate students' fears in these daunting subjects.

My lessons are structured on a gradual release technique. This means I will introduce a concept, go through all the steps on how to solve an example problem, have the student fill in some of the steps for another example problem, and then let the student attempt on their own. This method allows students to gain a better understanding of a process flow for tackling different types of math and science tutors.
I think my tutoring structure is unique because I am always willing to break down complex problems to their fundamental concepts so that students do mot just learn steps on how to handle a math or science question, but can actually learn how think like a scientist!
I have experience tutoring middle school, high school, and early university students in all levels of math and physics.
