About Anthony
I am a doctoral researcher in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto, specializing in advanced integrated circuit design. My academic path has given me a deep, fundamental understanding of complex mathematics, physics, and engineering concepts, but I also have a passion for making these subjects accessible, intuitive, and engaging for others.
What brings unique value to my students is the bridge I build between theory and practice. During my undergraduate degree, I worked professionally within the tech industry across multiple internships. This means I don't just teach from a textbook, I know exactly how these concepts are applied to build real-world technologies, and I understand what skills are required to succeed in competitive, top-tier STEM environments.
Whether you are a high school student striving for top grades in advanced placement courses or a university undergraduate pushing through challenging technical classes, my goal is to provide a supportive, high-energy environment. I am dedicated to helping you build the confidence, problem-solving frameworks, and critical thinking skills needed to excel academically and achieve your long-term goals.

My teaching methodology focuses on practical, problem-based learning. Rather than relying on rote memorization, I connect abstract theories to real-world applications. A typical lesson begins with a targeted concept review, followed by step-by-step guided problem-solving to identify and close specific knowledge gaps. What sets me apart is my background as an engineering PhD researcher combined with my prior tech industry experience. I don't just teach the formula, I explain how and why it is used. My sessions are specifically tailored for high school students aiming for top-tier STEM programs, as well as university undergraduates navigating complex math, physics, and engineering courses.
