About Dev
Hi, I’m Dev — an Electrical Engineering student who loves helping students learn and feel confident in math and physics. I once struggled as a student and deeply needed a tutor who was patient, kind-hearted, and genuinely invested in my understanding of the material. I wanted someone who would take the time to explain concepts clearly and ensure I truly grasped them, rather than just finishing a session and moving on. I enjoy creating a kind and supportive environment where it’s okay to ask as many questions as you want and make mistakes while learning. I explain concepts that best fit the student and connect them to real-life examples so students can really understand and enjoy the subject. I’m patient, caring, and dedicated to helping every student do their best and feel proud of their progress.

Hi, I’m Dev, an Electrical Engineering student with a strong background in math and physics. My goal as a tutor is to make complex ideas easy to understand by connecting them to real-world examples and simple step-by-step explanations. I focus on helping students build confidence and develop problem-solving skills, not just memorize formulas.
My lessons are designed for K–12 students who want extra help or in-depth explanations in math or physics, whether they’re catching up, preparing for exams, or aiming to strengthen their foundation for their future career.
Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Quick Review about last lesson/topic
2. Explanation/teaching of new topic
3. Step-by-step walkthrough of example problems together
4. Independent practice with guidance
5. Short recap to make sure the key ideas are fully understood
6. Ask the student if they are confused about anything, provide re-explanations if needed, and answer any remaining questions
7. End the session with an evaluation of what the student understands and what they should continue to study and work on at home.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style and comfort level. I start by identifying what topics they’re comfortable with and where they struggle. I then break down difficult concepts into smaller, manageable parts using visual examples, practice problems, and guided examples. I believe in active learning, so I encourage questions and hands-on problem-solving during every session.
