About Ramtin
I'm a second-year electrical engineering student at York University with a passion for helping others succeed in math. I started tutoring because I know what it's like to struggle without the support you need and I want to be that support for my students. I’ve helped classmates and volunteered at my high school to build experience and connect with learners of all levels. My approach is patient, kind, and student-focused. I always encourage open communication so students feel safe sharing what’s confusing them. With strong grades, test scores, and a real passion for teaching, I aim to make learning math a more positive and empowering experience.

As an electrical engineering student, I bring strong academic and problem-solving skills to my math lessons. I take a student-focused approach, tailoring each session to their pace and learning style. Lessons typically start with a quick review, then move into problem-solving and real-world examples to deepen understanding. I use visual aids, clear step-by-step explanations, and targeted practice questions. I mainly work with elementary to high school students, and I’m especially effective at breaking down difficult concepts in a calm, supportive environment that encourages learning.
