About Sophia
Hello!! I’m Sophia, an Electrical Engineering undergraduate at California State University, Los Angeles. I offer math and singing lessons from my home, catering to middle school and high school students. I have been interested in engineering my whole life, and found great enjoyment in learning how to problem-solve properly. I am also a professional singer, and have had the privilege of being able to perform at multiple concerts throughout the past 10 years. I would absolutely love the opportunity to help students in both of these fields, to help them to feel the same passion and excitement I do!

Teaching Method
For math, I simplify complex concepts and encourage problem-solving skills. For singing, I focus on vocal technique, breath control, and vocal expression through numerous methods like chest, head, mix, and hybrid voices.
Typical Lesson
Math: Review, new topics, and practice problems.
Singing: Warm-up, technique, and song application.
What Sets Me Apart
My electrical engineering background brings structure to my math lessons. I have also been singing for my entire life, since I was 3 years old! Since then, I have had the ability to perform in multiple concerts. My singing experience offers practical vocal training.
