I have had a passion for teaching for all of my life. I feel that everyone should be a lifelong learner including myself. I love teaching young people because when that light bulb goes off and they understand the content, it’s so rewarding.

I have 14 years of experience with grades prek to 5th grade. I have taught multiple subject areas and have a masters degree in reading. I have been in the same inner city school for 11 years. I have four kids of my own ages 17, 21, 23, and 25.
