About Luke
I am currently an Elementary Education major in college, working toward becoming an elementary school teacher. I have completed over 200 hours of classroom experience through multiple classroom placements, where I have worked with students of different ages and learning needs. I have spent a lot of time working one-on-one with students, helping them understand their schoolwork and build confidence in their abilities. These experiences have taught me how to communicate with children, stay patient when they are struggling, and adapt to different learning styles. I genuinely enjoy working with kids and building positive relationships with them. I am dependable, encouraging, and excited to continue gaining experience as an educator while helping students reach their academic goals.

My lessons are focused on making learning easier to understand and helping students feel more confident in their abilities. I break difficult concepts into simple steps, work through examples together, and give students opportunities to practice on their own. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching based on what works best for them. Math is my strongest subject, but I can also help with reading, writing, homework, and other elementary subjects. I aim to keep lessons positive, patient, and engaging so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
