About LIBERTY

When you work with me, you can feel confident knowing you are learning from an experienced, dedicated educator who truly cares about your success. I bring years of classroom experience, including classical education and four years of online instruction with ESOL students, along with a strong academic background in psychology. I am currently completing a master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health, which allows me to support not only academic growth but also confidence, motivation, and learning strategies.

I approach tutoring with professionalism, clear expectations, and respect for every student. My goal is to create a supportive, focused learning environment where questions are encouraged, progress is celebrated, and each session is purposeful. You can expect structured lessons, patience, and guidance tailored to your individual needs. Above all, I am committed to helping you feel capable, prepared, and confident in your learning.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated elementary educator who truly believes learning should be engaging, meaningful, and supportive. I have experience teaching within the classical education model, where I focus on strong foundations, critical thinking, and helping students grow into confident, capable learners.

I hold a degree in psychology, which deeply informs the way I approach teaching, classroom management, and student relationships. Understanding how students think, feel, and develop allows me to create a classroom environment where children feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and grow—both academically and personally.

In addition to my in-person classroom experience, I bring four years of online teaching experience working with ESOL students. Teaching in a virtual setting strengthened my ability to differentiate instruction, adapt quickly, and connect with learners from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. It also sharpened my skills in communication, creativity, and building relationships—no matter the setting.

I am currently in graduate school pursuing a master’s degree in School Counseling and Mental Health, which reflects my passion for supporting the whole child. I love blending structure with energy, high expectations with encouragement, and learning with joy. My goal is always the same: to help students feel confident, supported, and excited to learn every day.
