About Ally
Hello everyone!
I am a high school graduate who has received mid to high 90s in all art courses I have taken. I also have over 10 years of constant drawing experience and knowledge of what techniques and skills improved my art the fastest and why. Things that I value are honesty and communication. If our tutoring sessions have both of those they will certainly go well. Communicate your specific goals to me as a parent who wants their child to improve or as a student and I will create a curriculum best suited to your needs. If you want to see my art I am more than happy to send you reference pictures. I have an art Instagram account that has over 2,000 followers and I have taken commissions before. Something valuable I have that other people might not is time. I will use my spare time to create a curriculum dedicated to each individual student and for the older students if you want research done for specific schools I am more than happy to help in my spare time. My schedule is the same as the average student's (available after school hours 3:30pm EST to 9:00pm EST.

I will teach all the useful skills I have learned like single or multiple point perspective, color theory, still life, drawing values, using different mediums, proportions/drawing the human figure, and composition. I can accommodate different skill levels and teach you exactly what you want to learn or use my recommended curriculum if you don't have anything specific in mind. I teach grade 11 and under. My specialty is black and white charcoal or graphite drawings but I am also very familiar with paint, pencil crayons, oil pastels and digital art. I'm also familiar with different styles like cartoon, anime, or realism. I do recommend realism for older students as that is the skill universities are looking for but I can teach any style.
