About Elizabeth
I have been an Elementary Classroom Teacher for 20 years teaching students in grades 2nd through 7th.
My experience includes teaching many subjects and adapting my lessons to many diverse learning styles.
Much of my recent Professional Development has been in the area of teaching the Common Core student in a way that is engaging.

My philosophy of education is that students need to be inspired to enjoy learning. This happens only by getting to know each student and what interests them so that lessons can be taught with those interests in mind. Once a student has a desire to learn many of their roadblocks to learning turn into minor speed bumps that I enjoy helping them cross over. Each student has a unique learning style. Once I determine that style and can more efficiently help them learn the knowledge or concepts they need to succeed.
