About Barbara
I've been helping students learn, grow, and find their unique sparks since I was a student. After more than 30 years in youth development designing curriculum, programs, and teaching in classrooms, in the woods, and during COVID online every day I've decided it's time to deepen my impact by helping students one-on-one. All of my tutoring starts with an assessment of skills and we will develop a plan as a team. We use lots of hands on manipulatives at this level and I can help you choose them if you would like.
With experience across all grade levels, I love the connections we can make with young learners to make sure they are on the right track as early as possible. I don't believe students are behind. I believe students just haven't had the opportunity to learn everything yet. So, lets get them learning EVERYTHING!
