About Katie
I am a music teacher is Wisconsin and teach elementary music in the public school system. My grandmother was a piano teacher so I have been playing since a very young age. My passion is to teach individuals how to play the piano and how to read music to anyone who is willing to try.

I use a piano method book and a music theory book when I teach lessons. My job is to teach the student how to read the music in the books and how to play what they read on the piano. Each student has different learning needs so I am flexible and willing to try different techniques and approaches until each student reaches their goals.
