Over 20 years of experience in special education, specifically teaching students with reading disabilities. I use a multi-sensory approach to teaching reading. A typical reading lesson incorporates phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling, and reading comprehension. These lessons are geared for students with students who are struggling to learn to read and/or students identified with Dyslexia or specific reading disabilities.
