When my daughter and I first met Mary Jane she had a score of 30, she even had problems with her multiplication. My daughter was tutored twice a week and her final end of grade score was 72. Mary Jane was also very patient with my daughter who has ADHD and treated her with such kindness and Mary Jane always had a way of explaining math in a simple way that after a few weeks, my child was on a roll. We had a healthy relationship while trying to get my child to pass, we always communicated with each other and with the teacher.
