About Ingrid
I believe all students are capable of learning. Most of all a confident learner is a successful learner that believes in him or herself. I believe in encouraging and motivating where needed in instruction. Math isn’t always easy but there are steps to getting to where a student needs to be. All concepts are graspable but there aren’t shortcuts.
I have many years of experience teaching in a public school which has given me much insight to how students learn. I can work with both short term and long term goals when working with various strategies.

I’d like to have an active dialogue with my students in both their strengths and weaknesses. I would have students pinpoint what they understand in the day’s lesson at school and then what they falter in their understanding of the lesson. I believe in an all hands approach when it comes to math and using various resources in implementing understanding.
